Transmission line infrastructure
Access roads, earthworks, tower foundations, structural erection and field support along the route.
About the service
What transmission line infrastructure is
Transmission line infrastructure covers the civil and structural works needed to build the corridors that carry power between regions.
The scope may include building and maintaining access roads, earthworks, tower foundations, structural erection and field support along the route.
FMC plans these work fronts around terrain, soil conditions, logistics and the mobilization needed for projects that advance section by section. Having its own technical crews and fleet gives more control over access roads, foundations and erection.
Ongoing projects include the Braúna – Santo Antônio de Pádua 138 kV transmission line and the 138 kV high-voltage line at Porto do Açu, with piles, earthworks and tower erection, as well as the civil works for SSP Transmissora de Energia's 345/138 kV GIS substation in São Gonçalo, RJ.
What FMC delivers
- Access road construction and maintenance
- Earthworks
